Later, people built a temple to worship Ly Nam De and annually held a party on May 24 and 27 (lunar calendar), there must have this kind of cake to commemorate the above historical event.

The soft green-lentil cake is cooked with green beans, sticky rice, honey and ginger juice. Green beans is carefully selected, soaked to remove the skin, put in a pot of 30 to boil, when the soft seeds are crushed, pour them into sticky rice, and cook with green beans. When the grain is softened, add the molasses to the top with some ginger juice. Two strong men hold big chopstick about 1m long, stir continuously to avoid burning under the bottom of the pot. When the cake is done like a sticky rice dish, pour it into large bowls. When it is cool, cut it into pieces and place it on a plate to present the offering, and then share it with the villagers.
